From theory to practical supporting of homeless people, with Genesis Pharma!

Ithaca‘s collaboration with Genesis Pharma implemented the transition from theory to practice!

On November 2nd, Ithaca held an Awareness Seminar to Genesis Pharma’s workforce on homelessness and the ways everyone can support vulnerable people. The forms of homelessness, the existing data, as well as ways of supporting a homeless person were analyzed and discussed.

A few days later, employees of the company visited the mobile unit, acted as volunteers in supporting beneficiaries, while at the same time distributed items that improve the living conditions of people experiencing homelessness.

It is very important to help vulnerable people, in view of the coming winter. Warm thanks to Genesis Pharma for being willing to offer, as well as the practical help in supporting our work!

About Ithaca:

The non-profit organization Ithaca was founded in 2015 and aims to reintegrate and increase the social integration of the homeless and other vulnerable groups. Ithaca operates Europe’s first mobile laundry unit providing hygiene services and job reintegration opportunities to people from socially vulnerable groups.
