Hope is not just a word; it’s a driving force that can change lives. This is exactly what the H.O.P.E. program proved, implemented by Ithaca in collaboration with Emfasis Non-Profit, as part of the BUILD initiative.

Supporting Those in Need

The goal of H.O.P.E. was to provide meaningful support to individuals experiencing social exclusion. By combining humanitarian care, practical assistance, and social guidance, we addressed real needs. These included document processing, organizing medical appointments, assisting with job searches, and fostering social inclusion.

People at the Heart

Every story shared through the program was unique, filled with challenges but also hope. Our initiatives touched lives across Greece, equipping participants with the tools needed to claim a better future. As one participant poignantly put it: “I believe they called it HOPE because it truly is hope!” This statement perfectly encapsulates the purpose and impact of the program.

The project “HOmeless not helPlEss” is implemented in the framework of the BUILD project, with Ithaca as implementing agency and Emfasis Non-Profit as partner. BUILD is co-funded by the European Union, through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, the Bodossaki Foundation and the NGO Support Centre.
