Ithaca: 40 Beneficiaries Found Employment Since the Start of the Year
Since the beginning of the year, 40 beneficiaries of Ithaca have managed to find employment, taking a significant step towards autonomy and a more stable daily life.
Employment support at Ithaca is not just about finding a job. It is a process of empowerment, through which people can recognize their potential, strengthen their self-confidence, and develop skills that will help them in both their professional and social lives.
Following its employment training program, Ithaca began accepting requests for employment support in 2022 and providing employment counseling sessions to people from vulnerable groups, aiming to connect them with the labor market and collaborating businesses and organizations.
What Does Employment Counseling Offer?
The job search can be a demanding process, especially for someone who has faced exclusion or prolonged difficulties. Through sessions with the employment counselor, each beneficiary has the opportunity to prepare based on their own needs and abilities.
Support may include resume drafting and improvement, interview preparation, searching for suitable positions, and connecting with businesses and organizations. At the same time, the process enhances communication, collaboration, and professional situation management skills, while helping people feel more confident about themselves and their abilities.
From Empowerment to Employment
Work is not just a way to secure income. It can contribute to financial independence, self-confidence, social reintegration, and the creation of a new daily routine.
At Ithaca, we continue to stand by people on this journey, aiming for every new step to become a new opportunity.
