🏃♀️ Running for Dignity: When Sports Become a Force for Solidarity
Every kilometer, every breath, every step was a step for dignity.
At this year’s Athens Marathon, 130 runners wore the colors of Ithaca, joining forces in the campaign Running for Dignity — running not just for the finish line, but for a purpose that unites and inspires.

Among them, 99 employees from ELVAL Colour ran for the second consecutive year with Apticon®, proving that corporate responsibility and social impact can go hand in hand. With energy, smiles, and solidarity, Ithaca’s team reminded everyone that sport can be a bridge that brings people together.

A Marathon Without Borders
This year’s race was also marked by a special story: a runner from Lithuania joined our team, trusting Ithaca to help him achieve his dream — to run in the Athens Marathon.
He shared with us that thanks to our team, he was able to fulfill a lifelong goal. His story reminds us that solidarity knows no borders and that running can connect people beyond geography, language, or nationality.

Running Toward a World with Less Inequality
Each step in this race wasn’t just about physical endurance; it was a promise for a world with less inequality.
Ithaca extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who stood beside us — to DryFit Greece for supporting us with the race shirts and to ELVAL Colour for their continued and valuable partnership.
Because in the end, Running for Dignity isn’t just about crossing the finish line — it’s about crossing boundaries of indifference, and creating hope, one step at a time.\
