“Smiles for All”: Supporting Children and Families in Need with Avin!
What does a child really need to start school with a smile? A few notebooks, some pencils, maybe a backpack. But above all, what they need is the reassurance that they are not alone. This reassurance is what inspires the “Smiles for All” initiative, designed to support children and families living in extreme poverty or even homelessness.
The Smiles for All Initiative
In collaboration with the Avin team, we stood beside children preparing to return to school and adults struggling to get back on their feet. During the initiative, we distributed essential school supplies so that young students could begin the new school year with confidence and dignity. At the same time, adults in need received personal hygiene items, which are vital for everyday life and human dignity.

Why every child deserves equal opportunities
The “Smiles for All” initiative is not only about distributing materials. It is mainly about sending a message of inclusion: no one should be left behind. Education is a fundamental right, and every child deserves to start their school journey with hope and equal opportunities. A notebook may seem small, but for a child who has nothing, it can represent the first step toward a brighter future.
Together, we create smiles
At Ithaca, in partnership with organizations and supporters, we continue to invest in initiatives that provide practical help and emotional empowerment to people in vulnerable conditions. Because care is not a luxury—it is a right. Most importantly, “Smiles for All” is not just the name of a project; it is a promise for societies built on solidarity, dignity, and hope.
