Through acts of social contribution and substantial support, the April <strong>Pop-Up Village<\/strong> once again demonstrated how solidarity can make a difference in the daily lives of many of our fellow citizens. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Substantial help for basic needs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>As part of our initiative, 35 personal hygiene kits were offered at the <strong>Pop-Up Village<\/strong>, which included shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and wet wipes. At the same time, beneficiaries had access to clean clothes and personal hygiene services, an extremely important action that contributes to enhancing the dignity and self-confidence of every person. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Psychosocial support and career counseling<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Our actions are not limited to covering basic needs. Through psychosocial support and career counseling services, Ithaca offers substantial help aimed at improving daily life and creating future prospects. This support has been a key pillar of the organization\u2019s work for 10 years.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Grooming and human care<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Dimitris from <em>The Box Hair Studio<\/em> once again had a special presence at the event, offering free haircuts and grooming to the beneficiaries. Small acts of care, like these, significantly boost morale and the sense of social acceptance. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The valuable collaboration of Ithaca with the Kaizen Foundation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>At the April <strong>Pop-Up Village<\/strong>, we had the pleasure of having the <strong>Kaizen Foundation<\/strong> with us, which actively supports all our field services. The partnership between Ithaca and the <strong>Kaizen Foundation<\/strong> involves providing clean clothes, street social work, and the reintegration into employment of the Mobile Unit\u2019s staff. <\/p>\n\n<p>With the power of collaboration and solidarity, we have been providing substantial help for 10 years, proving that when people and organizations unite, they can create real social impact.<\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spring has arrived in Athens, and we at Ithaca continue to stand by people in real need.
